Ideas for research can be submitted to HDRC South Tees through our contact form. A Research Coordinator is assigned to provide support and guidance in bringing together the relevant people (academics, local authority staff, community members) and exploring funding opportunities. If a funding application is unsuccessful, we can also provide support on how it might be improved for re-submission or submission to another funder.
There are various opportunities available for funding depending on the topic. Examples of funding bodies include: National Institute for Health and Care Research Public Health Research programme, UK Research and Innovation, Economic and Social Research Council, Youth Endowment Fund, The British Academy, The Health Foundation. Academics/researcher partners have experience of the most appropriate funding body to apply to.
Each research project is unique along with the time commitments needed for success. The HDRC South Tees team will support in building a wider team around the project to share the time commitments needed to accommodate any concerns.
